Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic many of our in person ministries aren’t currently happening. We pray for when we can be together in person again soon. Read below to find out more about ministries we share.
As an active member in the Christian faith, church isn’t only about putting on your best and attending services on Sunday morning, it’s about getting involved. Results are dependent upon the time you invest. The time you invest in your schoolwork, the time you invest in your career, the time you invest in your hobbies, and the time you invest in your family, all produce a more abundant and profound understanding of the world around you, as well as who you are as a person.
Making New Friends
Although it is certainly not a requirement, getting involved with your fellow congregants can have a meaningful impact on your life. Get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ. Get involved with the people with whom you spend your Sunday mornings. Create lasting friendships and discover more about yourself; get involved.
You can find those who share your interests in one of the several groups that have evolved here at Grace Lutheran Church. You may even have an idea for a new group about which we would love to hear.

Creative Crafters
Knitting, crocheting, needlepoint… Whatever your creative mind desires, the Creative Crafters meet at 2pm every Tuesday. Come, share your skills, and maybe even learn some new ones.
Piecemakers
Quilting your game? Join the Piecemakers Friday mornings at 9am. With an impressive arsenal of quilt making equipment, the Piecemakers enjoy their craft, and their works are often gifted to charitable causes, as well as sold in the interest of raising funds for the community.
Men’s Club
Every second Wednesday of each month, the Men’s Club meets to share fellowship and discussions from a male’s perspective.
50’s Club
Whether you’ve reached the half century mark, or you think you relate, join the 50’s Club for lunch and fellowship at different eateries around town every 3rd Saturday of the month at 1pm.
Catechesis
Also known as Sunday school, Catechesis is theological instruction for the little ones in your family. 6pm to 7pm every Sunday evening (with a summer break), Anita Camacho and Amy Foreman guide your children through Christian curriculum in an effort to prepare them for their confirmation (individual reaffirmation of their baptism), and designed to plant the seeds of a strong, lifelong faith.
Youth Group
The Youth Group is for children of high school age. It is a chance for the teens to develop their Christian fellowship through group activities. The group meets at the same time as Catechesis, on Sundays from 6pm to 7pm, with an occasional field trip.
Sing Along
From professionally trained vocalists to shower singers, all are welcome to join us every Sunday morning at 8am for a rousing sing-along session before worship service.
Bible Study
Sunday morning worship is just a taste of the information and enlightenment contained in the Holy Bible. Want to know more? Join us for Bible Study, Thursdays at 10:30am. Impress your friends with your biblical knowledge…
