WELCOME

SONG: JESUS WAS A COOL DUDE

Jesus was a cool dude, 40 days without food, then he made the golden rule, and that’s okay. He’s got love on his face. We’re saved by grace. Spreading God’s love all over the place! Singing we will, we will, Praise God Wooh! Praise God Wooh!

HIPPO SONG

In the beginning God made the sea, and the forest filled with trees. God made the mountains up so high, above it all God placed the sky. God’s finger prints are everywhere, just to show how much God cares. And in the middle God had some fun, and made a creature that weighs a ton! Hip, hip, hippopotamus, hip, hip, hooray God made all of us! Hip, hip, hippopotamus, hip, hip, hooray God made all of us!

Fifth Day of Creation

20 And God said, “Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the dome of the sky.” 21 So God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, of every kind, with which the waters swarm, and every winged bird of every kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

Genesis 1:20-23

DISCUSSION QUESTION: What is your favorite ocean creature?

BIBLE POINT: Water can be scary. God blesses and uses water for life. In baptism you have eternal life. Remember your baptism. Wash your hands!

PRAYER

LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be they name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us form evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

SONG: JESUS LOVES ME

Jesus loves me, this I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong. They are weak but he is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so.
